In 1997, Doug was honored by the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego with an Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award. As for his personal mediation philosophy, Doug offers the following insight:
“Albert Einstein observed that in the middle of difficulty lies opportunity. In our world that is filled with many challenges and difficult economic times, a peaceful resolution is hard to imagine, let alone achieve. No matter how dark or discouraging things seem to be or actually are, I believe we must raise our sights and see possibilities for successful and peaceful resolution of conflict, for they are surely there. As you know, it doesn’t come easily, but I pledge to you that I will work hard for you and your clients with a full and focused effort to achieve creative, sensible solutions. If you want to maximize your opportunities for successful resolution of your challenging disputes, please give me a call. Good results come from hard work and I am ready to go to work for you!”
